Hey everyone,
I'm trying to get P4DTG to connect to our JIRA installation which is hosted by Atlassian (Its a xxxx.atlassian.net solution).

Anyone know what to put in for the host name?

I've tried:

http://xxxx.atlassian.net/secure
https://xxxx.atlassian.net/secure
https://xxxx.atlassian.net/
http://xxxx.atlassian.net/

And I get the error in the P4DTG tester:

Connecting: [http://xxxx.atlassian.net:cdavis:test]

It looks like to me that I may be missing some java library or something?

Does the user that p4dtg is running under have access to all of the files from the installation? These lines:

Can't load log handler "com.perforce.p4dtg.plugin.jira.logging.FileHandler"
java.io.IOException: Couldn't get lock for repl/jira-dts-61676.log
java.io.IOException: Couldn't get lock for repl/jira-dts-61676.log

Make me think it's unable to read the log handler or write to the logging area. There's a good KB article on debugging DTG with Jira as well, but I didn't see anything pertinent to this problem.

When you say "access to the files," do you mean the Perforce installation or the P4DTG install itself?

The P4DTG install itself. It writes out a number of logs to the install area( a directory called logs I believe ), and also loads in some logging configuration data from the install area. If you have access to support I'd highly recommend talking to them about this; they are fantastic at sorting out P4DTG issues.

You were 100% correct. I had to change the permissions on the install directory of P4DTG and it connected! Thanks!
