When we created any hierarchy there is a default p4.client file . I need to use that file in a shell script. I am not able to do that . Is there any option in perforce using which we can do this task or there is any other method to accomplish this task?

I believe what you are looking for are the -o and -i flags on the "p4 client" command. The -o flag will print the form to STDOUT so that your script can manipulate it. The -i flag will take the form from STDIN to send it back to the server.
