I need to install an old Perforce client on a Windows 2012 Server. The way it was handled with Windows 2008 Server R2 I downloaded the install file using the link ftp://ftp.perforce.com/perforce/r08.1/bin.ntx64/p4winst64.exe. But, I notice that this file is missing or filtered out when I use FTP from Windows 2012 Server. Is it possible to install the legacy P4Win on Windows 2012? If so will it work? What is the URL that I should use to install this.

Thank you.

Kevin

I don't think we have the technology to filter based on FTP client platform; I just picked it up from there on my Mac. Maybe try grabbing it through Firefox? They have an FTP client built in. It should run, although it may need one of the old Windows compatibility modes to be enabled.
