Hi,

I am trying to integrate Bugzilla and Perforce.

First option was to use PDTI,but I do see a limitation in doing so - as no of users using Bugzilla is more than no of user s on Perforce side,

Can any1 please suggest me the best way to achieve the Integration between Perforce and Bugzilla??

Thanks in advance

P4DTG may fit the bill. It supports Bugzilla:

p4bugzilla may also fit the bill.

The wiki has been replaced by Swarm. The p4bugzilla project is now here https://swarm.worksh...nter-p4bugzilla

Hey
I have a question about the p4bugzilla project: I downloaded the sources from Swarm and built it using the gradlew.bat batch file (OS: Windows). Now, I got a build\libs subfolder including the p4bugzilla.jar executable. How do I run this java file as a daemon on windows? Do I need to use the Apache commons daemon (procrun) to install it as a windows service? Or would you suggest another approach?

Any help would be highly appreciated!

Cheers,
Robert

Robert,

A little bit of searching turns up this solution.

I haven't tried it.

If you're handy with scripting you can always roll your own to suit your needs. I wrote a couple triggers, one on the pre-submit side to verify the changelist has a bug number, and the bug has a flag set to allow submissions, and another on the post-submit side to add a comment to the bug with the changelist description, and transition the bug to resolved if a special keyword was in the description.
