Hi.

On OVA version of Commons (2014.1) I've set up AD integration and everything seems to work like a charm,
Now I know I've set the unimportant passwords in p4d.conf :

# Change the *PASS values to match set values
COMMONSSUPERPASS=commonssuper
COMMONSADMINPASS=commonsadmin
COMMONSGUESTPASS=commonsguest

And the "important" one:

# SET THIS PASSWORD WHEN USING AD/LDAP
COMMONSMGMTPASS=commonsmgmt

As you can see, in our installation these all are still default one's.

How do I change them correctly not to affect functioning of the auth system? What is the sequence and actions list?

Thanks.

To set the admin login for Commons in the OVA you can use the commons-config.sh with the -a flag to specify the user name to use and the -P flag to set the password it should use. Then configure your AD system to have that account and you should be set.

I believe setting that admin password alone is enough. I'll do some research and see of guest pass and the rest still need to be set.
