Hi. We have an OVA-based Commons installation.

We have .docx file that utilize non-standard fonts. How can we add .otf fonts onto the OVA Ubuntu host so that Commons Preview dispalys fonts correctly?

Regards,
Max

That is a good question. I will ask the developer; I think you may be the first person to try that.

I take that back; no need for the dev for this one. This guide covers the many ways that fonts can be installed on Ubuntu:

From my read of it the easiest way to install your font will be to put it in /usr/share/fonts/.

I'd first install the appropriate language pack.

As root:

apt-get update

# find the name
apt-cache search language-pack | grep -i czech

# which should guide you to:
apt-get install language-pack-cs*
