I would like to be added to the feature request for this as well. Even if it just had the ability to load in standard syntax highlight definitions from a folder for various extensions so we could define our own instead of Perforce having to provide all the syntax highlighting. Seems like there must be some standard thing that could be used like with notepad++ or others.

Specifically I'd like to see syntax in the diff view.

+1 - This would make it so much easier to read the diffs.

And I completely agree that syntax rules should be provided by external style defs, like notepad++ or sublimetext - although I suppose most languages look similar to C/++ or XML, so those alone would be huge.

In the docs: <swarmurl>/docs/basics.files.html#basics.files.text-files
It shows support for PHP syntax highlighting but no other languages?
Is there a list of the currently supported languages with syntax highlighting?
