Hi - I just updated to the latest P4VS in VS2010 and it is no longer detecting the files in the solution as being checked in. When I try to connect the solution to Perforce it brings up a "Microsoft Visual Studio" error dialog with "The given key was not present in the dictionary."  When hovering over files in the solution it says "Not in Perforce". The version I had before this did not do this and worked correctly. Any ideas?

How do I downgrade to an older version of P4VS? I cannot see older versions on the website. Thanks.

I am unable to repro the behavior you describe with:
P4VS 2014.2.93.1619
and
Microsoft Visual Studio 2010
Version 10.0.30319.1 RTMRel
Microsoft .NET Framework
Version 4.5.50938 RTMRel

Any chance you are not connected to the server? Or connected with a workspace different than the one your solution is under (I have run into this when working between a few different streams with different workspaces - easy to select a recent solution and connect with the wrong connection)

Uninstalling and re-installing may be worth a try, but I doubt that is the issue. You can do that via Tools -> Extension Manager.

If all else fails you can go back to a prior release. 2014.1 can be found on our ftp here:

ftp://ftp.perforce.com/perforce/r14.1/bin.ntx86/

You'll need to uninstall the current version as described at the top or Visual Studio will return a message saying that you have the latest version installed.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Same error.

I tried the previous version. Same error.

I ended up going back to
    ftp://ftp.perforce.com/perforce/r12.1/bin.ntx86/p4vs.vsix
Which works.

I can provide logs from the recent broken version and the older working version if you want (via email).

(Also, different issue but I thought I would mention it: It seems that you can't use the Return key to enter a new line in this forum with IE10. I have to use Chrome).

Odd. Was the original upgrade from 12.1 -> 14.1?

I'll message you privately regarding the logs.

IE 11 appears to enter new lines with the Return key. I have not tested 10.

I'm not sure what version I had in VS2010 before. I would doubt it was as old as what I have had to roll back to.
