Hi I'm getting this error ever since I deleted  project from a workspace. not sure if its related. This workspace is new one, I downloaded the asset from he store and now get this.

Loading script assembly "Assets/P4Connect/Editor/P4Connect.dll" failed!

Ive had a terrible time trying to get my projects to transfer over to another machine. I transfer fine its when I open the project the links are missing. Admittedly I've only tried once as this error now occurs. Your docs are little weak in regards to Unity 5 support.

Theres no mention of ignore files and so on. Maybe this was my problem I ignored files other than Assets and ProjectSettings folder.

Full story here, I'm losing my patience. I hope someone can help please? thanks

Hi Beloudest,

Thanks for the report.   Assuming your problem is on windows, you may need to have the MS VS2013 redistributables installed:

https://www.microsof...s.aspx?id=40784

I also suggest you upgrade to the latest P4Connect, which can be found here:

https://swarm.worksh...s/main/releases

If you still have problems, please email support@perforce.com with a description and we'll be glad to follow up with you.

Thanks,

-Norman

Hello,

I have the same problem: I install the latest verison of P4Connect via the asset store and get this message:

Loading script assembly "Assets/P4Connect/Editor/P4Connect.dll" failed!

I've installed the redistributables like you mentioned, but this didn't help.

Unity editor version is 64 bit 5.1.3f1

There's no extra info in the editor log about this message

Thanks
