Hello all,

Does anyone here have experience using Git Fusion to import a repository from Bitbucket? I need to move some code from Bitbucket to Perforce, hopefully with full history, and comments made in this forum make me think that Git Fusion might be able to accomplish that.

Thanks in advance for any pointers.

Carsten

Hello,

I did some "mirroring" things from one Git repo to Git Fusion repo and finally to Perforce itself.
I just cloned the Git Fusion repo into clean folder (which creates origin remote), added new remote (for you its Bitbucket) called "external" and pulled commits from that remote. After that I just pushed into Git Fusion - origin remote.
You will probably have to fix some conflicts and etc.

In short:
cd "empty-folder"
git clone <git-fusion-address> ./
git remote add external <bitbucket-address>
git pull external master # pulls just master branch
git push origin master

Hopefully it will help you!
