Hi,

I have found out that creating P4V packages is something our packaging team are aware of, but are not currently working on.

I will let them know that you have requested P4V RPM/Deb packages and log an enhancement request, if one does not already exist.

Thank you, yes having packages makes upgrading a LOT easier. Since our use of perforce depends on p4v, this is very important to us.

Yes please! I would love to have access to RPMS and Debs via the same repository as the command line client.
