I have a question about workspace management in P4 Jenkins plugin. I have been googling but haven't found answer.

I'd like to create configuration as simple as possible for job but problem is that job can be executed on many nodes and every node have more than one slot for execution. How should I set workspace name and other options? Especially if I want to start job after each change.

For the name of your client, include NODE_NAME and EXECUTOR_NUMBER.

For example (enter this verbatim):

jenkins-${JOB_NAME}-${NODE_NAME}-${EXECUTOR_NUMBER}-workspace

At run time, the values will be substituted, making the name unique for the job/node/executor.

I have this configuration now, but it causes problems with polling per change. I have to create special job named "Poller_<ORIGINAL_JOB_NAME>" which is bind to one machine and have workspace named ${JOB_NAME}. This job starts actual job and thanks to bind to one node with one workspace it allow to start job after each change. Is there any other, more clear way to do it?
