Hi,
I was wondering what does the default constructed ClientApi defaults the user, port, etc to? I tried setting the P4CONFIG and using p4 set in the Terminal (on Mac OSX) and the default constructed ClientApi doesn't seem to pick up those settings. Does Init() need to be called first before calling GetUser()? For some reason on the Mac OSX GetUser() of a default constructed ClientAPI seems to return the login name. Forgot to mention, this is using the C++ API.
