We have some fairly large binary files in our depots, so we use the +Sn file type on several extensions in our typemap. We intend to migrate our classic depot to a Streams depot, and would like to start using task streams and unstable streams for code feature integration.

What will happen if we start to create task and unstable streams parented off of our new mainline? The task streams will likely never contain changes to the binary files, but some of our unstable streams certainly will. Are the +S files going to be stored forever, even if a stream is unloaded/deleted? Or could they even disappear while a task stream is still working with them?
