I'm a perforce user whose admin has recently introduced Swarm, and who has configured a self-signed certificate for the internal network.

This post is not about the use of such a certificate (I know how to import a certificate the admin provides me with).

When I start p4v, for a short period I see a 'Security Alert' dialog telling me that

'The root certificate used for the Swarm integration is self-signed and untrusted.

Trust this certificate?'

and offering me a choice between [Trust] and [Don't Trust] buttons.

This dialog tells me that there is a problem with the certificate; my complaint is that there is nothing to help me decide whether to trust the certificate in question, which is a major defect in the dialog.  It could be anything.  The only secure option is to select [Don't Trust], which makes the dialog pointless.  It needs to present certificate details so an informed decision can be made.
