There is no "P4VS for Visual Studio 2017" available from the download page and "P4VS for Visual Studio 2015" does not work for Visual Studio 2017.

Is there an Alpha or Beta version availabe for use with Visual Studio 2017?

I would also like to know when Perforce plugin for VS 2017 will be available.  VS 2017 RC4 is now available, so it should be released soon.

Thanks for your interest in the plugin. VS 2017 is on our planned features list but not available yet.

Due to major changes between Visual Studio RC and GA versions in the past, we now only release a compatible plugin after Visual Studio GA.

VS2017 is expected to be released March 7th.  Will you release the same day?

We are working on Visual Studio 2017, but we don't have a release date yet.  Below is a possible workaround for the "This extension is already installed to all applicable products" error, but beware, another forum user was unsuccessful.
  • Download p4vs11.vsix from our ftp site
  • Rename p4vs11.vsix to p4vs11.zip
  • Double click on the p4vs11.zip file
  • From the p4vs11.zip folder, copy the extension.vsixmanifest file to your Desktop
  • Edit your Desktop extension.vsixmanifest file by replacing Version="14.0" with Version="15.0"
  • Copy back your modified extension.vsixmanifest file to the p4vs11.zip folder
  • Rename p4vs11.zip to p4vs11.vsix
After double-clicking your modified p4vs11.vsix file, see if the installation of P4VS works.  Uninstall P4VS if it does not work.

I had issues with the instructions above - the workaround kept resulting in a corrupted vsix on my Windows 10 machine. I was also caught out by forgetting to unblock the downloaded file in the file properties!

I have a slightly different approach that seems to work - despite a compatibility warning
  • Download p4vs11.vsix from the perforce download area (and unblock it in the file properties if applicable)
  • Extract the file to a folder (I used p7zip for this)
  • Open the folder in explorer
  • Edit the estension.vsixmanifest file as detailed above and save
  • Select all the files in the folder, right-click and choose Send To - Compressed (zipped) folder
  • Rename the newly created zip file to p4vs11.vsix
  • Double-Click on the p4vs11.vsix and install.

It worked like a charm,
Thanks!

I tried out the recommendations on the VS2017 (no longer RC now) - works. It also restored my p4vs settings from VS2015
