I'm working with streams in DVCS mode, and have created a few new streams. I've added these streams to my remote, but cannot fetch them. If I run p4 fetch, I get the '<revision> - no revision(s) above host at that changelist number.' message. How can I fetch to get and switch to newly created streams?

You can fetch streams.

1. On the master, allow fetch and push

p4 configure set server.allowfetch=3
p4 configure set server.allowpush=3

2. On the master, set up your remote spec with the stream (for example, if the stream is named //Streaming/Parent)

p4 remote myremote
    //Streaming/Parent/... //Streaming/Parent/...
p4 remotes

3. On the new machine, use "p4 clone" to create a personal server

[clone]$ p4 -u rfong clone -p gabriel:1666 -r myremote
Server rfong-dvcs-1488315212 saved.
Cloning from 'gabriel:1666'...
fetch load revisions 53 finishing
fetch load integrations 57 finishing
check files 100% finishing
fetch archives 100% finishing
commit revisions 100% finishing
sync 46 finishing
5 change(s) containing a total of 53 file revision(s) were successfully fetched.

4. Create the stream //Streaming/master on your personal server

5. Make a change to a file in the stream on the master

6. Use fetch to receive changes to the stream

[clone]$ p4 fetch -S //Streaming/Parent
1 change(s) containing a total of 1 file revision(s) were successfully fetched

If you have problems, see if you can run

p4 files //Streaming/Parent/...

on the personal server to look for errors or check your client or remote specs.
