I have a developer using a Win7 Client with P4V 2015.2. In our environment developers connect to a SSL proxy which talks to a SSL broker which in turn talks to the master p4d services. The issue is seen with this developer only. When he tries to connect via proxy to a particular instance, P4V prompts that he doesnt have the valid fingerprint and prompts him to trust the same. Strangely, the fingerprint shown is completely different from the proxy's ssl fingerprint.

I had the correct p4trust.txt file placed in his C:\ drive, added environment variable P4TRUST=C:\p4trust.txt and rebooted the machine. This still did not help. Both P4V and p4.exe continue to complain about the missing fingerprint and P4V shows an invalid one to accept.

Does anyone know why this might be happening? Are there are known Windows software which might interfere with Perforce's SSL connections?

Not sure why this is happening, but did you try running the "p4 trust" command?

p4 -p <proxy>:<port> trust

Yes, p4 trust has been run as well. But the next time a p4 command is run, it shows up with the invalid fingerprint. Completely flummoxed!

Do you have access to the P4Broker log?  This may provide some clues.
