Hi,

I'm currently using P4V 2017.1. (Rev. P4V/NTX64/2017.1/1491634) and my server is 2016.2 "P4D/LINUX26X86_64/2016.2/1487173 (2017/02/14)".

Whenever I create a development stream and use the import+ as described in the article below I still get the popup warning informing me that files i am attempting to checkout are imported and cannot be submitted from your current workspace (screenshots attached).

>> Is this intentional behavior or is this an oversight of P4V not realizing that the import+ type allow us to modify and submit files?

Reference article: https://www.perforce...de-import-paths

Thanks,

-Jonathan Wilson

I agree, this is quite disturbing :)
However, you can get rid of those warnings, with the Preferences ( Edit --> Preferences), in the Streams part, you select the checkbox 'Do not warn when checking out, ...'.

Hi Caroline,

Ah yes, this is a very suitable workaround.
Thanks.
