Currently, we have started to get the following error in P4V:

If we access swarm in the web browser, although it is behind the reverse proxy, proxy does ssl termination correctly and warm displays absolutely perfectly ssl-wise.

Where can I get additional info to investigate? Expanding "Show details" gives and empty panel.

Thanks in advance.

Please try our newest P4V:

P4V 2017.2/1532340 (patch 2) is available from the Downloads page (and the FTP site, ftp.perforce.com).
The patch fixes one P4V bug:

job086786 - The root certificate for the Swarm integration has been rejected.
After scrolling about 500-1200 changelists in P4V, the following error occurs:

The root certificate used for the Swarm integration has been
rejected. All Swarm functionality will be unavailable. Please
   contact your system administrator.

CA signed certificates were incorrectly going through the certificate comparison algorithm that only self-signed certificates should. "The root certificate for the Swarm integration has been rejected." error should no longer appear in this situation.
