We are using  PERFORCE for managing our files and streams of code(software product). There are about 30 thousands  and above files present in one stream. Every year we need to update the "copyright" of each file. so we are looking for the plugin/tool/hook which will be integrated to perforce to auto include the copyright data to each file depending upon file extension.
So please some one can help me.

Hi,

Currently we don't have a plugin to do this, but you could script the process.

The script would need to do something like:
  1. Check the files out to a workspace.
  2. Update their copyright info.
  3. Run 'p4 reconcile.
  4. Submit the files.

You may also wish to consider adding a 'change-content' trigger, which does not allow a file to be submitted if it's copyright
information does not match that specified by the trigger.

Hope this helps,
Jen!
