Hi, I'm currently using DVCS feature of Perforce.

My workspace folder is as follow:

- .p4root/   (folder)
- MyProject/  (folder)
- p4ignore.txt
- p4config.txt

I'm only using perforce locally. I don't have a remote server to connect to.

How can I backup my workspace to my secondary HDD?

Should I use p4 push and then p4 clone to recover everything when I need it?
Or can I just copy paste all the content above to my external hard drive?

Use p4 zip and p4 unzip.  The p4 fetch and p4 push commands work best if the servers are networked and the p4 zip and p4 unzip commands can be used if the servers are not on the same network.
