Hello community!

This is my first time trying Peforce as it is touted as industry standard for Unreal Engine.

So I have created an account/project/repository in HelixTeamHub, and after spending more than 2 hours trying to find out how to connect the P4V client to the cloud Im about to give up.

It seems like the first bit of information that should be provided, and maybe is and im just missing it ... but what is the "server" in the open connection dialog that must be used to connect to helixteamhub.cloud

Theres lots of information on how to connect to a server, but this vital piece of information eludes me. I have tried helixteamhub.cloud with and without 1666

End of rope reached

Any help gratefully received

Hi,

When working with Helix TeamHub, you can use the WebUI to view your projects, create repos, code reviews and more.

Helix TeamHub (HTH) is a code review tool for Git repos.

The P4V client does not currently have Git support, so you can not use it to work
with code stored in Helix TeamHub.

You can however use your favourite Git client.

The Unreal Engine integration (by Epic Games) works with the Helix Core server.

You can find more information about it here:
  https://www.perforce...-and-helix-core

Hope this helps,
Jen.
