Does the Perforce server software work on CentOS 8 yet?

Hey there.
Just wondering if the Helix Core server software works on CentoOS 8 yet? Currently have a functioning server running CentoOS 7 but setting up another for a friend and he's done a fresh install of 8.
I'd appreciate any info in case I end up wasting a lot of time!

You can see what's officially supported here:
https://www.perforce.../helix-core-p4d
They do not yet mention RHEL8 (and hence centos8).
